Abstract

Abstract: The N‐heterocyclic carbene‐catalyzed [4+2] annulation of enals with α‐iminophosphonates was developed to give the corresponding cyclic α‐aminophosphonates in high yields with excellent enantioselectivities. Abstract : Organocatalysis : The NHC‐catalyzed [4+2] annulation of enals and α‐iminophosphonates was developed to give the corresponding α‐aminophosphonates in good to high yields (up to 94%) with excellent enantioselectivity (up to 97% ee ). The reaction presents a straightforward enantioselective synthesis of cyclic α‐aminophosphonates by the tandem C−C bond and C−N bond formation under mild conditions.
