Abstract

Abstract : A pressure‐sensitive matrix (PSM) with a full dynamic‐range is shown by Caofeng Pan, Zhong Lin Wang, and co‐workers in article number 1605817 to be able to accurately detect and spatially map a pressure profile. A 100 × 100 large‐scale PSM gives both electrical and optical signals by itself without application an external power. The device represents a major step toward digital imaging, and the visible display of the pressure distribution covers a large dynamic range.
