- Abstract:
- This paper develops a framework to explain how institutional and competitive conditions interact with the partnerships established between domestic and multinational corporations and resultant impact on the technology transfer in a large transitional economy. By using an in-depth case study approach based on historical data and events, our observations show that we can learn more about technology flow based on the international partnerships from one of China's most important technology-intensive industries by examining changes across multiple institutional and market dimensions.
