Abstract

The emergence of MNEs from countries such as India characterised by unique institutional and resource environments as important players in the global economy has been a distinctive development in the global economy. In this context, this paper profiles the role of the international entrepreneurial capability as a key driver of born global firms from the Indian information technology sector. Using the case study method, this paper develops a set of theoretical constructs as initial explanations for the appearance of the born global firm.
