- Abstract: This paper aims to determine the level of HIV/AIDS knowledge among young Malaysian women. The results of this study carried out on 810 girls, aged 13 to 30 years old, reveal that nearly all young Malaysian women are aware that HIV/AIDS is transmitted through blood. However, only two-thirds of them know that HIV/AIDS can be transmitted through other bodily fluids. Younger girls aged 12 to 15 years old who considered themselves religious believe that staying healthy will prevent them from HIV/AIDS infection. If this persists, it will have a tremendous impact on the quality of life among young Malaysian women.
