- Highlights: Developed and tested motivational model of micro-breaks with workplace nature views. Short green micro-breaks reduced tension and improved performance. Effects were transmitted indirectly through coherence to reduced effort expenditure. But not through fascination which was associated with higher effort expenditure. Green micro-breaks may contribute to supportiveness of workplaces.
