Abstract

Differences between the needle– and needleless electrospinning processes are shown in the paper. Main research and development areas in the neeedleless electrospinning are characterised. Independent and dependent parameters of the process are identified and some references showing results of recent research are cited. Laboratory, pilot and production electrospinning lines are shown and characterised. Examples of nanofibre applications are presented.
