Abstract

Abstract : The cover picture shows self‐assembling structures of (diphenylhydrazido)vanadium(V) compounds. The μ ‐isopropoxido‐bridged dimeric structure was observed in the molecular structure of (diphenylhydrazido)vanadium(V) triisopropoxide. Furthermore, each μ ‐isopropoxido‐bridged dimer is connected by continuous CH‐π interaction to form one‐dimensional polymeric structure. The apical coordination of the nitrogen of 2, 2', 2''‐nitrilotriethoxide ligand to vanadium metal in (diphenylhydrazido)vanadium(V) nitrilotriethoxide, which forms the dimeric structure through CH‐π interaction, was found to lengthen the V‐N bond and cause the multiple‐bond character in the N‐N bond.
