- Abstract : Friedel–Crafts Reaction Efforts to identify factors that contribute to the attainment of a large magnitude of ΔΔ S ≠ in the Friedel–Crafts reaction and DFT calculations in the transition‐state model shines a light on an area of emerging opportunity to link the ΔΔ S ≠ effect and the molecular structure of the conformationally flexible organocatalysts.
