Abstract

Abstract : A heteroatom‐mediated resonance activation strategy is developed by Runfeng Chen, Wei Huang, and co‐workers in article number1803856 to dynamically enhance the spin‐flipping of purely organic molecules through the fluctuation of excited‐state energies and n‐orbital components upon resonance variation. Impressively, efficient organic ultralong room‐temperature phosphorescence with simultaneously elongated lifetime and improved efficiency is achieved, overcoming the intrinsic competition between the lifetime and efficiency of the triplet‐excited‐state‐involving photoluminance.
