Abstract

Abstract : Different morphologies at different sizes were successfully obtained with thirty five types of additives and evaluated in the cracking reaction of C4 olefin. Abstract : The morphology of ZSM-5, which was very closely related to the diffusion property, was regulated by screening thirty five types of additives with different functional groups, polarities and hydrophobicities from hydrocarbons, acetones, amines, alcohols, etc ., to polymers and surfactants. The spherical, sheet-like, plate-like and noodle-like morphologies of different sizes were successfully obtained with different contents of additive. The sheet-like morphology exhibited superior catalytic performance in the cracking reaction of C4 olefin according to the catalytic activity data obtained for different morphologies.
