Abstract

Abstract : The cover picture shows the isolation of the first stable four‐coordinate silanechalcogenones comprising an acyclic amido substituent by a straightforward oxidation of the amidinato silicon(II) bis(trimethylsilyl)amide with chalcogens. In the background, the shadow of a lion represents Singapore, called "The Lion City", whose name, incidentally, starts with the same two letters of the element symbol for silicon, and the three different colors of the "hair" of the lion represent the three chalcogens, S, Se, and Te.
