- Abstract: We study the spontaneously generated coherence (SGC) in a Rb atom by employing photon counting statistics based on the four-level Y -type model driven by a probe field and two coherent control fields. A transparency channel induced by coherent population trapping (CPT) and ultra-narrow probe absorption peaks in the presence of SGC are found.
