- Abstract: A novel wideband unidirectional multi‐dipole antenna is proposed, which has an enhanced impedance bandwidth of about 68.1% for VSWR < 1.5 and a gain > 8 dBi, covering the frequency region from 1.54 to 3.13 GHz. A stable radiation pattern is obtained and the 3 dB beamwidth is 62 ± 4° at E‐plane and 63 ± 4° at H‐plane over the bandwidth. This model has been manufactured, and the experimental results are in good accordance with the simulated ones.
