Abstract

Abstract : X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy investigations of Ni(L CH 3 )3 (Piv)2 (1), [Ni(L CH 3 )2 ]2 (Piv)2 ) (2 ), and [Ni(L CH 3 )2 ]2 (CH3 COO)2 ] (3 ) complexes, where LCH3 —k 2 ‐1, 2‐diamino‐4, 5‐dimethylbenzene‐bis(k 1 ‐diamino‐4, 5‐dimethylbenzene) and Piv—(CH3 )3 CCOO, are reported and discussed. The photoelectron spectra are sensitive to the temperature of the samples and evidence on structural conformations.
