Abstract

Abstract: Ca2 PdGe3 and Ca2 PtGe3 are prepared by arc melting of stoichiometric amounts of Pd or Pt with Ge and subsequent addition of excess Ca (Al2 O3 crucible in quartz ampoule, 880 °C, 12 h, ≈50 kPa Ar).
