Abstract

Abstract : The back cover picture shows RevAmine biotin tag‐modified (apo) cytochrome c (bovine) with two accessible lysine residues on the leftmost loop depicted as "ball and stick". The upper‐left lysine is in neutral pH conditions (green background) and therefore still has the RevAmine tag attached, whereas the lower‐left lysine has been exposed to bicarbonate buffer, pH 8 (blue background with ions depicted) and as a consequence has tracelessly regenerated the residue along with free biotin and other by‐products.
