Abstract

Abstract : Purpose: – This paper aims to review the latest management developments across the globe and pinpoint practical implications from cutting-edge research and case studies. Design/methodology/approach: – This briefing is prepared by an independent writer who adds their own impartial comments and places the articles in context. Findings: – Internships are useful for increasing enterprise and employability skills and commercial awareness for information technology (IT) students. IT organizations also benefit in that internships are used to recruit fresh talent. Findings regarding entrepreneurship were disappointing, with little reportage of ambitions to create new firms, nor awareness of the high likelihood of self-employed contractual work in the sector.
