Abstract

Globalisation requires corporate compliance to reduce the risk of leakage of important knowledge. Companies need to establish general standards within individual enterprises to make all employees act under the company's basic regulations and rules, which is not easy to do due to different values of employees. This study was aimed at finding success factors for the global expansion of standards in overseas businesses. We developed a new model for technological knowledge compliance by using future focused motivation management and tested and verified its effects by applying it to the overseas subsidiaries. As a result, the best practices in Japan were applied to overseas subsidiaries and the results demonstrated how quickly organisational transformation occurred. In addition, we discuss whether there were differences according to country. The Japanese model could be applied in the Philippines. In addition, the unique models that were developed in China demonstrated effective knowledge transfer had taken place.
