- Abstract : Ni2 P nanoparticles synergized with MOF-derived Co, N-doped porous carbon polyhedrons contribute to superior multifunctional electrocatalytic performances for oxygen reduction and water splitting. Abstract : Ni2 P nanoparticles anchored on MOF-derived Co, N-doped porous carbon polyhedrons (Ni2 P/CoN–PCP) were successfully prepared. The Ni2 P/CoN–PCP catalyst shows excellent trifunctional electrocatalytic performances for the oxygen reduction, oxygen evolution, and hydrogen evolution reactions, attributed to the synergistic effect between active Ni2 P nanoparticles and the CoN–PCP support with rich Co–N x centres, abundant defects and high conductivity. This work demonstrates a superior low-cost electrocatalyst for potential application in fuel cells and water splitting devices.
