Abstract

Abstract : Corneal collagen fibrils are controlled during development by small leucine‐rich proteoglycans to create a robust, yet optically transparent tissue. In article number1804076, Qiongyu Guo, Anirudha Singh, Jennifer H. Elisseeff, and co‐workers utilize cyclodextrins (CDs) instead to modulate fibril formation, alignment, ultrastructural organization, and spacing in vitrified collagen matrices.
