Abstract

Abstract: A new alkaloid, named 2-methoxy-4-(2-(2-pyridine)-ethyl) phenol (1 ), together with two known compounds, was isolated from Zingiberis rhizoma. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of 1D and 2D NMR spectra and MS spectra. Compound1 exhibited substantial bioactivity against Canidia albicans ATCC 10231 with a minimum inhibitory concentration of 1.0 mg/mL. Abstract :
