Abstract

Highlights: We correlate the intracranial recording with the presence and extent of type IIb FCD. The epileptogenic zone extends beyond the border of the anatomically defined FCD. RF-THC results in unsatisfactory outcome due to the residual type IIb FCD. MRI undetectability is due to limited neuropatological alterations.
