Abstract

Abstract : The reactions of two equivalents of LGa {L = HC[C(Me)N(2, 6‐ i Pr2 C6 H3 )]2 } with Sb X 3 ( X = Br, I, OEt) proceed with elimination of LGa X 2 and formation of Ga‐substituted distibenes [L( X )GaSb]2 [ X = Br (1 ), I (2 ), OEt (3 )]. Compounds1 to3 were characterized by heteronuclear NMR ( 1 H, 13 C), IR and UV/Vis spectroscopy, elemental analysis, and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. Abstract :
