- Key Clinical Message: Amiodarone is one of the most commonly used antiarrhythmic drugs. Despite its well‐known side effects, amiodarone is considered to be a relatively safe drug, especially in short‐term usage to prevent life‐threatening ventricular arrhythmias. Our case demonstrates an instance where short‐term usage can yield drug side effect. Abstract : Amiodarone is one of the most commonly used antiarrhythmic drugs.
