Abstract : Abstract: There is overlap at the skull base between many different pathologies which can be challenging enough when they stay on the originating side of the skull base, but are particularly problematic when they invade through to the other side, which is something they often do. This review discusses the well-known and not so well known variations of several entities which can cause diagnostic dilemmas in this area.
