- Abstract: Effects of chromium additions on the microstructure, ordered phase and magnetic properties of the Fe-6.5 wt.% Si alloy fabricated by hot-rolling and warm-rolling were investigated. The results showed that the additions of chromium reduced the grain size of the alloy effectively, and the dislocation density was reduced with the increasing of the chromium content. The amount of ordered phase was reduced in the alloy with the chromium content of 1.0wt%. The magnetic properties of the alloy with chromium were not deteriorated.
