- Abstract: In this paper, a novel control approach for synchronization of complex dynamical networks with nonidentical nodes is presented; it is based on inverse optimal pinning control. The proposed controller effectiveness is illustrated via simulations. The illustrative example is composed by a network of six different chaotic nodes.
