- Abstract: When we are faced with environmental issues at a global level, such as global warming and pollution, the interest in use of renewable energy and environmental control method which conserve energy as much as possible has further increased. In this research, we investigate energy saving and thermal comfort about M Building which is built in Mombetsu city, Hokkaido, Japan. This building installs radiant heating and cooling system that utilizes geothermal heat. Based on the investigation, the aims are to examine the optimum operating method, and to seek the realization of further energy saving.
