- Abstract : Objective: To study the prevalence of endothelial dysfunction in the working population of the Ryazan region and to identify factors affecting this indicator, including specific male and female population. Design and method: MERIDIAN-RO conducted as an open, prospective, cross-sectional study. The study included persons 25–64 years old at the time of the survey, written informed consent. All surveyed conducted a survey on the standard questionnaire, anthropometry, measurement of blood pressure, heart rate, ECG, blood is extracted biological samples to determine the biochemical profile of risk. In addition, a comprehensive assessment of the risk of using an adapted scale SCORE for the Russian Federation. Results: These results demonstrate a high prevalence of ED in the population of the Ryazan region (51.8%), regardless of gender, indicating a high risk of developing atherosclerosis and related diseases in the population. The analysis showed that the development of ED in the population influenced by the following factors: a decrease in glomerular filtration rate less than 50 mL / min, CRP > 5 mg / ml fibrinogen > 4 g / l, obesity, excessive alcohol consumption, hypertension, the risk for SCORE > 5%. In the analysis of the male and female populations were identified factors that are specific to the various floors. Thus, for an important role in male development ED played excessive alcohol consumption (in a dose of 20 ml / day, based on the alcohol) andAbstract : Objective: To study the prevalence of endothelial dysfunction in the working population of the Ryazan region and to identify factors affecting this indicator, including specific male and female population. In the analysis of the male and female populations were identified factors that are specific to the various floors. Thus, for an important role in male development ED played excessive alcohol consumption (in a dose of 20 ml / day, based on the alcohol) and apolipoprotein levels of apoB 100 g / l. Women specific risk factors total cholesterol increase was more than 5 mmol / l, apolipoprotein apoB 100 g / l of fibrinogen to 4 g / l and the presence of diabetes. Conclusions: ED prevalence in the population of the Ryazan region is equally high among both men and women (52.4% vs. 51.2%). The main factors associated with the development of ED are: CRP > 5 mg / ml, obesity, hypertension, high risk scale SCORE > 5%. In addition, men were risk factors: excessive consumption of alcohol and apolipoprotein B > 100 g / l; women - apolipoprotein B > 100 g / l, fibrinogen > 4 g/L, total cholesterol > 5 mmol / l. … (more)
