- Abstract: The individual monitoring service of the Materialprüfungsamt Nordrhein-Westfalen currently develops the thermoluminescence dosemeter system TL-DOS [1]. This paper presents the design of the dosemeter badge which will allow the simultaneous measurement of the personal dose equivalent H p ( 10 ) and H p ( 0.07 ) according to EN 62387 (IEC, 2007). A flat response with respect to the energy and angle of incidence is achieved, and the characterisation of the badge demonstrates the possibility to obtain dosimetrically relevant additional information about the exposure circumstances. Thus, a precise dose-determination is realised. The dosemeter is also suitable for mixed radiation fields of beta and photon radiation. Highlights: New dosemeter badge to measure simultaneously the dose equivalent Hp (10) and Hp (0.07). Dosemeter System TL-Dos based on a thin layer thermoluminescence detector with LiF:MgTi. Dosemeter criteria according to EN 62387. Teflon filter to represent the dose value Hp (10).
