- Abstract : The cover picture shows the visible light irradiation of ZnCr2 O4 nanoparticles which can be used for efficient degradation of organic molecules in waste water into small and harmless degradation products like CO2, H2 O, etc. Unfortunately, a chromate release is observed generating even more dangerous waste water. This makes nanosized ZnCr2 O4 useless for environmental friendly photo catalysis. Details are discussed in the article by Michael Poschmann, Ulrich Schürmann, Wolfgang Bensch and Lorenz Kienle on page564 ff .
