Abstract

Abstract : This qualitative study was conducted to explore the empowerment experiences of family caregivers of patients with cancer. Empowerment consisted of 3 main categories: (1) seeking tranquility with the help of religious beliefs, (2) developing a positive attitude, and (3) restoring control over the situation. Results may help nurses for planning spiritual and supportive care.
