Abstract

Abstract : We propose a deep depth of field near eye light field displays utilizing LC lens and dual‐layer LCDs utilizing LC lens and dual‐layer LCDs. Furthermore, a structure parameters optimization scheme is proposed to determine the parameters of form factors. A prototype was constructed to verify our proposal. This proposal achieves high resolution, simple form factor and improved depth of field, which overcomes the convergence‐accommodation conflict effectively.
