- Abstract : In article number1800048, Scott T. Retterer and co‐workers use a microfluidic habitat to image beneficial bacteria during colonization of plant roots. Two bacteria species inhabit different spatial niches along the root, alluding to their interaction with the plant. The root's growth rate responds to the bacteria in the system, a result that could inform enhanced plant cultivation.
