Abstract

Abstract : In article number1703491, Andrew Basile, Maria Forsyth, and co‐workers examine the unique properties of ionic liquid electrolytes and their solid‐state analogs, organic ionic plastic crystals. The developing field of investigation into ionic liquids for the oxygen reduction reaction is also presented. Finally the properties of the electrode–electrolyte interface resulting from the interaction between typical sodium anodes with ionic liquid electrolytes are discussed.
