- Abstract : Super‐soft functional microparticles mimic the mechanobiological features of T cells. These particles can penetrate 3D microenvironments, have prolonged blood circulation, and can release various cytokines on demand. A biomimetic model presented by Louis‐S. Bouchard, Paul S. Weiss, Alireza Moshaverinia, and co‐workers in article number1706780 enables optimization of the design parameters required for the engineering of more efficient drug carriers and serves as a potent replica for understanding the mechanical behavior of immune cells.
