Abstract

Abstract : The University of Oregon boasts a student body that is more diverse than the overall population of the state of Oregon, a fact of which Roger Thompson, vice president for student services and enrollment management at U of O, and a member of the Enrollment Management Report Advisory Board, is very proud. When Thompson joined the institution, the population of underrepresented domestic minority students accounted for only 17 percent of the student body.
