Abstract

Abstract : ( Anesthesiology 2016;124:186–198) Decision support tools (DSTs) are used by clinicians for easy decision-making due to a number of difficulties associated with using clinical guidelines. American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine (ASRA) guidelines on regional anesthesia in the patient receiving antithrombotic or thrombolytic therapy are recognized guidelines world-wide, but due to the length of the document, most clinicians are unfamiliar with all the details mentioned in the guidelines.
