Abstract

Key Clinical Message: Normal‐appearing evoked potentials during the acute stage of the disease despite persistent coma may predict subsequent functional recovery of the brain in a pediatric case of acute necrotizing encephalopathy, indicating that evoked potential studies are useful for predicting functional outcome of the brain.
