Abstract

In this study, we have examined and analyzed 344 short films shown on three main programs of network television between March 1995 and October 2002. Among a variety of distributing windows, the first logic for choosing the network was the quality. Second, we have concluded that, in this analysis, it is important to target those shown on TV because the TV window has been relatively stable and constitutes a large portion of the overall profit of independent films (Kwak, 2002; Kim, J., 1998).
