Abstract

Three speakers presented information regarding the importance of differentiating atrial high-rate episodes from atrial fibrillation, the importance of developing patient registries of atrial fibrillation, and recommendations for using oral anticoagulants in patients who undergo atrial ablation or closure of the left atrial appendage.
