Abstract

Abstract : The Cover Feature shows the electrochemical water oxidation ability in the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) of two different Ni II porphyrins with varying electron‐donating ability. ComplexB is kinetically and thermodynamically favored and achieves a better OER onset potential and current than complexA . The steric group 3, 5‐di‐ tert ‐butylphenyl on complexB plays a decisive role in this performance.
