- Abstract : Adjustable materials based on controlling the metal ligand interactions in metal containing polymers are prepared and characterized. Copper(II) carboxylate is used to crosslink a stretchable acrylic polymer, resulting in increased stiffness and strength. Moreover, modulation of the material properties is accomplished by attaching different ligands to the copper cations.
