Abstract

Abstract : Summary: This article summarizes presentations of a symposium on bone health–related hot topics of the 2016 Basic Science Focus Forum. Taken together, these topics emphasize the critical importance of bone health in fracture management, the systemic factors that influence fracture healing, and the need to focus on issues other than simply the technical aspects of fracture repair.
