Abstract

Abstract : China has a big demand for magnetic measurement service and technology. Higher magnetic materials measurement capability helps the industry. In China, great efforts on the measurement of hard-magnetic properties and the magnetic properties measuring technology have been put by the Chinese industry and National Institute of Metrology (NIM). Nowadays, China has achieved its advanced capabilities on hard-magnetic materials measurement. The Calibration and Measurement Capabilities, i.e. CMCs, on the Bureau International des Poids et Mesures (BIPM) website indicates China achieved the equivalent capabilities of hard-magnet measurements to the best of the world. From 2008 to 2011, China and UK piloted an IEC Round Robin Test on hard-magnet measurements. National Institute of Metrology's results fall in the areas, which are the closest to the international mean values by two methods. China also shows its higher capabilities in industry hard-magnetic measurements area, at least three top features are achieved by Chinese local industrial magnetic measurement instruments.
