- Abstract : Nursing professional development practitioners regularly provide future nurses, and those advancing their nursing expertise, with mentorship and guidance on academic progression. However, we often wonder how we should approach advisement and what we should include in our discussions with those who have sought our expertise. An Association for Nursing Professional Development task force explored the many facets related to academic advisement and produced a must-have discussion paper as a resource for nursing professional development practitioners everywhere.
