Abstract

Graphical abstract: Highlights: Two new compounds were isolated from Dothideomycetes fungus CMU-99. Structures have been elucidated by 1D and 2D NMR spectrometry. Cytotoxic and antimycobacterial activities of the isolated compounds were evaluated. The biosynthesis pathway of some metabolites was proposed. Abstract: Dothideoisoflavanone, a new isoflavanone, and dothideoxanthone, a new xanthone, along with twelve known metabolites are isolated from the broth extract of the Dothideomycetes fungus CMU-99. Their structures are identified on the basis of spectroscopic data. The isolated compounds are evaluated for their cytotoxic and antimycobacterial activities.
