- Abstract : Terahertz radiation is emitted from hybrid organic–inorganic perovskites following light absorption. This enables an ultrafast probing of the charge‐separation dynamics and carrier–lattice coupling, even under illumination conditions equivalent to 1 sun, as described by Burak Guzelturk, Aaron M. Lindenberg, and co‐workers in article number1704737 . Initial charge separation is shown to be diffusive in nature and not driven by surface fields or ferroelectricity. Strong carrier–lattice coupling is evidenced via coherently driven terahertz‐frequency lattice oscillations.
