Abstract

Abstract : ABSTRACT: The patch test is considered the gold standard for the diagnosis of allergic contact dermatitis. The Thin-Layer Rapid Use Epicutaneous Patch Test (T.R.U.E. Test) is a patch test approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration containing 35 preloaded, ready-to-apply allergens and allergen mixes. Our objective is to provide a comprehensive review of the commercially available patch test kit.
